As Regional Maintenance Director, Rodger leads the maintenance teams in Suburban Philadelphia in providing exceptional service to all residents, as well as maintaining our first-class properties while managing expenses. A member of AVE’s Asset team, Rodger also has an active role in new acquisitions, building relationships with A+ vendors and planning capital projects.

A: Fairless Hills, PA
Q: How long have you been with AVE?
A: 11 years, 10 months
Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
A: Busy, and I love it that way! I enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Q: What brings you the greatest satisfaction in your role?
A: The interaction and relationships I have with my fellow team members. I love that we are crazy busy, but we always find the time to listen and create solutions. I enjoy seeing a plan come together.
Q: What is your favorite AVE amenity or service?
A: I think the resident social events are awesome! The AVE team is so creative in finding unique ways to connect with our residents.
Q: What is your favorite quote and why?
A: “The harder you work for something, the greater you’ll feel when you achieve it.”
There is nothing better than that feeling of accomplishment.
Q: What is your favorite spot in Philly and why?
A: The Philly sports complex. I am a Flyers season ticket holder and a huge Eagles and Phillies fan. There is no better place to enjoy a game and drinks with friends and family.
Q: What’s something interesting about you that we might not know?
A: Growing up in a military family, I was fortunate to live in Germany and 7 states while visiting many others. My goal is to visit all 50. I am currently at 31.
