As IT Manager - Enterprise Systems, Tanya oversees software applications and systems that support the seamless operations of our first-class apartment communities. One of her primary responsibilities is system management. This includes project managing the installation of new software and ongoing maintenance of existing programs such as software updates. She provides training to our IT Analysts, so they can confidently support our on-site teams with Resident Portal, our online portal where residents can make rental payments, submit maintenance requests, view the resident event calendar, contact Resident Services, and more. Additionally, Tanya collaborates with AVE leadership to define innovative solutions for the portfolio as we grow and execute their implementation.
Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
My workdays vary according to the requests we receive, but I always start my day focusing on any outstanding, high priority items. I then shift my focus to discovery, implementation, and support of software related projects.
Q: How long have you been working in IT?
Since 2011, so a total of 13 years.

Q: What is your hometown?
Langhorne, PA. I was always familiar with Korman Communities, having grown up in the Greater Philadelphia Area.
Q: What is your favorite hobby and why?
I love Paddleboarding on Marsh Creek, especially at sunrise or sunset to take in the beauty of mother nature.
Q: What is your favorite spot in the Suburban Philadelphia area and why?
Thanks to my friends, I have become quite the foodie! Most recently, I have enjoyed chef tastings at Vetri Cucina and Morimoto.
Q: What are 3 fun facts about you that we might not know?
While I was majoring in Music at Temple University, I was a pit orchestra musician for local music theaters and performed on stage at the Academy of Music. I’ve also completed two marathons and hope to participate in the Athens Marathon someday.
