As a Leasing Manager at
AVE Clifton, Lesley provides a start-to-finish resident experience by conducting on-site tours, providing guidance through the leasing process, welcoming residents on move-in day, and reviewing lease renewal options. Building and maintaining relationships through community outreach is a key component to his role as well. He also works closely with team members ranging from resident services, maintenance, and housekeeping to deliver the carefree AVE lifestyle to all residents.
Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
While I have my routine, each day brings new opportunities. Throughout the day, you can find me reviewing our current availability, walking apartments, scheduling tours with prospective residents, entering service orders for residents, connecting with residents and Realtor partners, and planning resident events and social content with the team.
Q: How long have you been working in this industry?
I’ve been in the industry for 10 years and with AVE for almost 3 years! The highlight of my career has been helping people throughout Massachusetts and Northern New Jersey find their new home.
Q: What do you love most about being a part of the AVE team?
I love that every team member supports one another. We all have the same goal of building a sense of community and delivering an elevated living experience.

Q: What is your favorite hobby?
I am a huge sports fanatic. My favorite sports are basketball and football. I played college football in Buffalo, NY, and coached youth basketball for many years. In my free time, I play pick-up basketball games at my local gym. Although I no longer play football, I participate in Fantasy Football leagues each year.
Q: What is your favorite spot in the Northern New Jersey area and why?
My wife and I love to visit The Haven, which is a restaurant in Bergen County. They have great food and amazing
New York City views! I love that
Northern New Jersey is conveniently located to New York City! It’s so close that it feels like Manhattan is in my back yard.
Q: What are 2 or 3 fun facts about you that we might not know?
I enjoy music and art, have a dog named Kino, and share the same name as my wife.
