“I LOVE SEEING MY WORK COME TO LIFE, ESPECIALLY ON OUR WEBSITE OR SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS. FOLLOWING THE PROCESS OF HAVING AN IDEA AND WATCHING IT UNFOLD, CREATING SOMETHING FROM NOTHING IS SOMETHING THAT BRINGS ME SO MUCH JOY AND EXCITEMENT.”
As Digital Content Specialist for AVE, Gabby is responsible for producing all digital content to drive the brand’s marketing strategies including eblasts, social graphics, photo/video shoots, and more. Gabby also manages the CMS for all of AVE’s websites.
Q: What is your hometown?
I was born in Drexel Hill, PA, right outside of Philadelphia.
Q: How long have you been with AVE?
A little over 3 years.
Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
There is no “typical” day at AVE! We have 12 properties in various markets and every day the projects are different. I could be at my desk creating eblasts or social graphics or on site shooting photos and video, whatever the properties need to execute their marketing plans. I love this role. It definitely keeps me busy!
Q: What brings you the greatest satisfaction in your role?
I love seeing my work come to life, especially on our website or social media platforms. Following the process of having an idea and watching it unfold, creating something from nothing is something that brings me so much joy and excitement.
Q: What is your favorite AVE amenity or service?
Our pools! They are always my favorite photos to look at and instantly make me feel relaxed.
Q: What is your favorite quote and why?
“Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston S. Churchill
I think about this quote a lot not only in my professional life but also my personal life. I always want to be striving for more but also am okay with making mistakes along the way, knowing that they help me learn and grow!
Q: What is your favorite spot in Philadelphia and why?
My home and my neighborhood! I live on the edge of Rittenhouse Square, and it has a little bit of everything.
Q: What’s something interesting about you that we might not know?
My degree is in Fine Arts Photography and Art History.
