As a Senior Maintenance Technician at AVE Malvern, Corey takes great pride in maintaining our charming community on the Main Line in Greater Philadelphia at the highest level. He is responsible for ensuring apartments are move-in ready for future residents, the property is pristine, and assisting with renovation projects. Corey began his career journey with AVE 9 years ago as a Maintenance Technician.
Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
A typical workday includes meeting with the maintenance team in the morning to understand pending items and our goals for the day. From there, I’ll start executing service orders ensuring resident requests are responded to within 24 hours and completed to their satisfaction. I’ll work with the team throughout the day to make necessary repairs to apartments with upcoming move-ins.

I enjoy working alongside my fellow team members. We have a collaborative environment, which is great since we all learn from one another.

I like to camp and spend time outdoors surrounded by nature. It’s very relaxing!

PJ Whelihans’ in Malvern. They have my favorite beer on tap, Copper Lager.
Q: What are 3 fun facts about you that we might not know?
I love classic cars and am a proud owner of a classic truck. My girlfriend and I have an annual tradition of attending the Renaissance Faire.
