As an Operations Manager at
AVE Las Colinas, Amanda happily supports each team member in upholding brand standards and ensuring operational efficiency of the community. This includes working closely with maintenance and housekeeping to provide best-in-class service, processing accounts receivables and payables, managing supply orders, and overseeing the budget.
Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
Every day is different and brings new opportunities! I start each day by prioritizing immediate needs for the community. I then meet with the team to discuss our schedules and ensure they have what they need to meet their goals. For the remainder of the day, I’ll assist with challenges that may arise and review pending requests such as invoicing,
apartment inspections, arrivals, and departures.

I have been in the industry for over 10 years.
Q: What do you love most about being a part of the AVE team?
I love the company-wide support. Every AVE team member is always eager to help answer any questions and provide additional training, so I feel confident in my role.
Q: What is your favorite amenity or service at AVE Las Colinas and why?
My favorite service is our
fully furnished apartments. It is truly an unmatched experience and the perfect living solution for individuals that are in-between homes and need flexibility.
Q: What is your hometown?
I was born in Wilmington, Delaware and raised in a small beach town called Englewood. It is located on the Gulf Coast of Florida.
Q: What is your favorite hobby and why?
My favorite hobby is reading. I enjoy a good page turner! I also love spending time with my two-year-old son at the park. He has taught me so much and I am constantly learning from him.
Q: What is your favorite spot in the Dallas/Las Colinas area and why?
My favorite spot is Rockledge Park. It is a peaceful area that overlooks Grapevine Lake and is as close to a beach as you’ll get in Texas!
Q: What are 2 or 3 fun facts about you that we might not know?
I have lived in six different states and was previously a competitive weightlifter.
