A home is more than just a place to live—it's a reflection of comfort, inspiration, and connection. At
AVE Malvern, we embraced this vision, channeling it into a two-year renovation of our clubhouse that came to fruition this summer. Thoughtfully designed to support the way our residents live, the clubhouse now offers the perfect blend of beauty and function.
When residents walk into the newly transformed Malvern clubhouse, they are greeted with the smell of freshly brewed coffee from the hot beverage station and beautiful natural light, gleaming through the two-story windows onto the crisp marble countertops. Picturesque views of the Great Valley and the resort-style pool and sundeck serve as the backdrop for the Great Room, dazzling with its fireplace and seating area, and expanded 24/7 fitness center.
This space becomes an extension of our residents’ apartments, whether it’s grabbing a coffee in the morning, a refreshing swim in the afternoon, or a rewarding workout after a long day.
The 24/7 fitness center was expanded with double the square footage and elevated with new cutting-edge fitness equipment including Peloton bikes and an Echelon Strength Pro.
The way people work has shifted post-pandemic and there is a demand for renters to have access to functional, flex workspace outside their apartments. The new private work pods separated by sliding glass doors and executive conference rooms at AVE Malvern provide plenty of comfortable options for residents to check email, work on creative projects, and take video calls.
“One of the mantras we live by is, “You can get a day older or a day better,” says Sam Korman, Operations Association for AVE, who oversaw the renovation from start to finish. “We always strive to get better.”
In addition to the new business amenities and an elevated fitness center, enhancements were made to the resort amenities including increased seating and lounge options on the sundeck such as new conversation fire pits and grilling stations.
The residents were the inspiration for this project, so it's rewarding for Justine Winkler, General Manager of AVE Malvern, to hear their positive feedback on the enhancements and see the spaces used heavily throughout the day. “I love seeing more of the residents regularly. They come in for coffee now every day. The workstations and conference rooms are always full,” says Winkler. “We host our resident events at the clubhouse, and the new spaces have really given us the opportunity to bring more creative ideas to life.”
