This summer, nearly 30 AVE and Korman Communities team members from New Jersey and Suburban Philadelphia participated in Corporate FunRun 5ks to benefit pediatric and blood cancer research and treatment.
Fourteen AVE team members from New Jersey participated in the Corporate FunRun North Jersey 5k at Meadowlands Racetrack in East Rutherford to support Tackle Kids Cancer, and 13 AVE and Korman Communities team members from Suburban Philadelphia participated in Corporate FunRun Greater Philadelphia 5k at Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Corporate FunRun’s mission is to promote team-building and health and fitness within companies while giving back to the community. Tackle Kids Cancer, the official charity of Corporate FunRun North Jersey 5k, is a program supporting the Children’s Cancer Institute at HackensackUMC. All donations made to Tackle Kids Cancer benefit essential clinical care, unique support services, and ground-breaking cancer research to find a cure. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the official charity of Corporate FunRun Greater Philadelphia 5k, aims to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the qualify of life for patients and their families.
