9th Annual AVE Resident Appreciation Week – The Art of Living Better

AVE’s favorite annual tradition, Resident Appreciation Week, was celebrated for the 9th consecutive year from September 24th – 28th.

Resident Appreciation Week holds a special place in all AVE Team Member’s hearts. It is a week devoted to our residents, serving as a thank you for choosing AVE as their home.

“This is our favorite week of the year because we get to take care of and spend time with our residents, which is what we are most passionate about,” says Lea Anne Welsh, President of AVE, “We were excited to collaborate with Samsung this year as they share our value in delivering products that meet and anticipate consumer needs and desires.”

Over the course of the week, the AVE teams organized game nights, fitness classes, cooking demonstrations, flower bouquet building, paint and sip nights, and dance classes to the theme “The Art of Living Better.”

The teams had the creative freedom to create a resident event calendar that reflected their residents’ tastes.

AVE Blue Bell loves its four-legged residents as much as their two-legged friends, so they held “The Art of Pet Photography,” gifting their residents with a professional portrait of them and their pet.

The Franklin Residences honored their historic past with “The Art of History” Philly trivia night.

Whether it was mixologists at AVE Las Colinas during “The Art of Mixology” or AVE Tampa Riverwalk’s cinephiles at “The Art of Broadway,” AVE residents all throughout the country participated in the Live Better® lifestyle.

Mike Coleman, AVE King of Prussia resident, attended “The Art of Cinema,” where residents were glamorously transported to a night in Hollywood by enjoying classic films, specialty cocktails, light bites, live music and themed photo-ops.

“The event was fun, energetic, and well-attended,” says Mike, “I had a chance to meet some new neighbors and reconnect with others.” Whenever Mike’s schedule allows, he is sure to attend social resident events where he can make new friends and see the AVE Team that he loves so much. “The AVE Team is fantastic,” says Mike, “They are friendly and professional, and everything I could ever need is always addressed right away. They truly care about the residents, and they make me feel like I come home to a luxury hotel.”

Samsung Collaboration

This year’s 9th Annual Resident Appreciation Week, with the theme “The Art of Living Better,” was a collaboration with Samsung, internationally recognized industry leader in technology and Top 10 global brand, with the goal to transform everyday electronics into works of art for AVE residents.
