Once the nation’s busiest naval shipyard, this historic landmark employed over 40,000 people and built 53 warships during World War II. Today, the Navy Yard has transformed into a vibrant waterfront community with 150 companies, diverse eateries and entertainment, and sprawling green spaces – all while honoring its rich past.
