As Maintenance Manager for AVE Walnut Creek, Jorge is responsible for the maintaining our sophisticated rental community in the East Bay of San Francisco at the highest level – this includes overseeing preventative maintenance, vendor partners, supply management, resident requests, and any renovation programs. Jorge’s work ethic is unparalleled, and he is beloved by all team members and residents for his dedication to the community. He will be celebrating his 3-year AVE-versary in 5 days.

3 years on August 1st

Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
I start every day with walking the property, making sure that everything is working properly and looking good. Throughout the day, I talk to my team about their daily schedule, talk to leadership about larger projects, perform inventory audits and supply orders, as needed, meet with vendors to schedule projects.

Q: What brings you the greatest satisfaction in your role?
Just being able to help people.

Definitely our barbeque area on the rooftop lounge.

Concord, because that’s where I live and spend time with family.
