As Operations Manager at
AVE Florham Park, Alexa works closely with our housekeeping and maintenance teams, ensuring they are fully supported in their daily roles. She takes great pride in training team members on brand standards and procedures, providing optimal solutions for maximum productivity, and managing supply orders. Alexa is also committed to providing five-star service to our residents, so they have a seamless experience whether they live with us for 6 months or 2 years.
Q: What is a typical workday like for you?
While I have my routine, each day presents new learning opportunities. I start my day with a comprehensive property walkthrough followed by a team huddle with housekeeping and maintenance team members. We discuss goals for the day and our plan of action. Throughout the day, I’ll do periodic check-ins to address any unforeseen situations and adjust accordingly. Ongoing communication and being flexible is key!
Q: How long have you been working in this industry?
5 years! My first 2 years in the industry were spent as an intern. I then moved into the Resident Services Representative role and was then promoted to Operations Manager.
Q: What do you love most about being a part of the AVE team?
The collaborative approach our team demonstrates each day. We all work together to meet our community goals through AVE’s value system, QUEST.
Q: What is your favorite amenity or service at AVE Florham Park and why?
Our resident events! I love working with the team to create our monthly calendar of events and inviting our residents to join us. It’s the perfect time for them to mingle with their fellow neighbors and to stay connected with AVE team members.

I enjoy skiing and travelling!
Q: What is your favorite spot in the Northern New Jersey area and why?
The city of Morristown. It is the perfect place to try new restaurants with my friends on weekends.

I have 3 dogs; one was adopted from Turks and Caicos. I’ve worked at a hotel in Sorrento, Italy and I love to cook.
